What we do: Car, boat, motorcycle, registration and license plates, Specialty and Personalized plates, renewals, Transfers from other states and countries to Florida, Handicap Parking Permits, Notary Public.
What we do not do: Drivers Licenses, Florida ID cards. For these you have to go to a Drivers Licence Office.

Dealers from Florida or other states are always welcome. If you are from the South Florida area, please come to our agency and register with us. Otherwise, please email us to arrange for your transactions.
- We do registration renewals, new registrations and replace lost or stolen licence plates, stickers or registrations for cars, vessels, motorcycle and scooters. You get everything right at our agency. No need to wait for anything to come in the mail.
- To renew a registration you only need proof of Florida insurance (insurance card or policy). When yo renew through the mail or online, it can take a while until the new registration and decal are mailed to you. At our agency you get it right away. No chance to get lost in the mail! If you do not have an insurance card, you can ask your insurance company to fax one to our agency (305) 867 5860. If you do not have Florida insurance you can call our insurance department at (305) 868 1148 or buy it here. You might want to check if all your parking tickets are paid at the Miami Dade Clerk Office. You might want to make sure your Drivers License at the DMV Website. Registration renewals cost between around $ 60 and $ 150 depending on the weight of the car, the license plate (specialized, personalized) and if it is leased or owned. You can send a third person to renew your tag. Ask your clerk to renew it for two years. For motorcycles, scooters and vessels, insurance is not mandatory but highly recommended. You can buy it right here. Liability insurance for motorcycles, scooters and vessels is generally very inexpensive.
- To replace a lost or stolen tag, sticker or registration you need to come personally to our agency with a valid Drivers License or Passport. Cost is between $ 10 and $ 40, depending what was lost. If your plate or sticker was stolen, you should report it to the Police department. With a police report number, the charge to replace a stolen tag is $ 5. You can replace a license plate at any time if it is damaged or you would like to have a specialized or personalized license plate. You can check at this DMV Website if your personalized plate is available.
- You can surrender a license plate at our office if you sold your car. It is important to return the plate if you cancel the insurance coverage on a car. If you do not return it, DMV might suspend your Drivers License. If you buy another car later, we can reactivate it. We will issue a new plate but give you credit for the surrendered one. There is a $ 5 fee to surrender your tag. You can mail the plate to us, but you will have to enclose the $ 5 fee if you want us to reflect the cancellation of the tag in the DMV system.

- We process new and duplicate titles for cars, vessels, motorcycles and scooters.
- All Title documents need to be originals, no copies can be processed. Titles cannot be issued or transferred through the internet. We recommend you do these transactions in person at our agency. If this is not possible, we can help you doing them by mail. Please email us with the exact details of you transaction and we will send you instructions on how to proceed.
- To transfer a title into your name you need the completely filled out title. The clerk will reject the title if your name, the sale price or the odometer fields are not completely filled out. A Bill of Sale is not required but highly recommended.
- If your title is not issued in Florida, you will need to bring the car to our agency for inspection. If you cannot bring the car to the agency, the verification can be done by a Florida Notary Public or a police officer of any jurisdiction on section 8 of this form.
- A title transfer for an automobile or motorcycle costs $ 93.25. You will have to pay 7% sales tax on the first $ 5,000 of the purchase price of the car and 6% for amounts over $ 5,000. This amount does not include plates and registrations (see previous section). If all your paperwork is correct, you can have your title printed out right at our agency (fast title). There is a $ 17 surcharge to use the Fast Title service. Otherwise, the title will be mailed to you by DMV within about two weeks.
- If your title is electronic (E-
title), we can print it out as long as the lien is released. Make sure your lienholder confirms that they released the lien before you come to our agency. - To get a duplicate title, you need to come to our agency with your Drivers License or Passport. You will get the actual title within about two weeks by mail. The fee is $ 84.25. Fast title service is available for duplicate titles with a surcharge of $ 17. We can print out the title right at our office.
- If you lost your title and you are selling your vehicle to another private person, we can transfer the vehicle without title if both parties come to our agency personally (duplicate with transfer). The transfer fees are around $ 70 higher than on a regular transfer.
- Title transfer fees for vessels are a lot lower, around $ 35. Sales Tax on vessels is the same as for cars and motorcycles.

- In the state of Florida, a motor vehicle or vessel is required by law to be registered
within ten days of the owner either becoming employed, placing children in public
school, or establishing residency. Registering your motor vehicle goes hand in hand
with the titling process. You do not necessarily need a Florida Drivers License to
register your car or vessel, an out-
of- state license or a U.S. or foreign passport is acceptable. - Out-
of- State transactions are easiest done at our agency. If it is not possible for you to come to our agency, please email us with the exact details about the transaction and we will give you instructions on how to proceed. - If you own your car and have an out-
of- state title you need to come to our agency with the title, Florida Insurance, the car for the VIN inspection (or the VIN verified by a notary or police officer on this form If your out- of- state title was issued in the last six months, you will need proof that you paid sales tax in your previous state or pay Florida sales tax. The proof can be a bill of sale or registration documentation which shows you owned the car before. The insurance has to be a Florida policy, it is not enough that it is valid in Florida, your insurance card has to state “Florida Insurance Card”. - If you lease or finance a car, we need the details of your financing or leasing company. You can come to our office with the information about the leasing/finance company (Name, Phone, Fax, VIN number of car) or you can email us the information. When you come to our office, we can issue a temporary license plate for 30 days until we receive the title from your leasing/financing company. We will contact you when the title is ready. You can then come to our office to get your permanent license plates and finish the transaction. When you come back to finish the transaction, you need to take the car to our office or have a notary public or police officer verify the VIN on your car on this form If you need a status update about your transaction, please email us.
- Our agency issues permanent and temporary parking placards and plates for disabled persons. We do not issue stroller permits. Information about stroller permits can be found here.
- You will need this form completely filled out and certified by a physician or another health care professional listed on the form as authorized to certify the handicap. The physician can be from any state but if he is not licensed in Florida, we will need a copy of his medical license. We need the original form, copies or faxes are not acceptable. You will usually need a Florida Drivers License or ID before you can apply for a handicap permit. If you have a handicap permit in a foreign country, we can issue a temporary Florida permit for up to six months. Permanent disabled parking permits are valid for four years, temporary ones for up to six months.
- You have to come to our agency in person to get or renew your permit. If you are not able to come to our agency because of you condition, a caregiver can come with the original form and your original ID or Drivers License.
- Fees are $ 3 for permanent permits, $ 18 for temporary permits.
An Inherently Low Emissions Vehicle (ILEV) or a Hybrid vehicle certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency may be driven in a High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane at any time regardless of its occupancy as long as a decal is obtained.
Check the ILEV/Hybrid List to determine if your vehicle qualifies for an HOV decal. Obtain an HOV Decal Form to apply for a decal. HOV decal transactions are processed by our office. The cost is $ 10 and you might get it in our office or mail us the original form with a $ 10 check.
